Has anyone had any experience yet with F4SS - Audit One Program?   I have a client that is having their customers  very persistent on moving forward with this program.  However it makes us nervous that all of the big certification body are backing out of being able to audit to this additional BRC module.

Hi Peak - I have looked at this & unless a site is already pretty robust in compliance to the basic standard I think many companies would struggle to meet requirements.

Although many of the big retailers (Johnson & Johnson, Unilever) appear to support this they wouldn't be the ones doing the work to achieve compliance - that would be their suppliers.

Assuming you have the checklist I would suggest going through the additional modules for the programme - indicating where you don't comply & an approximate cost to achieve the compliance as, unless sales to that customer are significant & ongoing, it might not be financially viable?....

If you do decide to proceed DQS can audit to this standard & they have offices in USA

My company is certified with AA BRC/IoP. Last year, the auditor encouraged us to go for Audit One. The Directors, however, seemed not to follow. They said there were least benefits if upgrading v.s. workload & cost in the point of view of business management.

I do not believe the issue is with conformance to the requirements.  all of the additional requirements are already complied with.  Its all cost related.  Some of the sites would have to either switch from SQF to BRC or just Add BRC in addition to SQF and they would have to switch certification bodies.  Early on in the process many certification bodies such as SAI Global, SGS, and others were on board but have since backed out of supporting these audits.  I believe there is only a handful of them now.
