Hi All and good day,

Can anyone comment if our company get an approved FSSC certification in one specific process/single product only? We have one sugar product that is being used for industrial users (candies, coffee mixes) and we thought that this production line will be certified rather than the whole factory.

Hope to hear from everyone who has this experienced.

Thanks.

Hi Chebar

The simple answer is yes. Your quality manual must include HACCP system for this line and all the supporting program related to this line. As you will release that most of the supporting programs are also related to other production lines.

Hi Chebar,

Upon seeing your question I queried it directly with FSSC 22000. A technical advisor has just responded with the following:

"With FSSC 22000 the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) of a food manufacturer is certified. The whole manufacturing process is certified. A FSMS covers the whole factory. It is not allowed to exclude part of the manufacturing process from the FSSC 22000 certification"
