We have been approached by a potential customer(s) that produces Food and Beverages with CBD, and I would like to know is there any food safety concerns or could we store CBD products without effecting our certification?

What type of SQF Cert do you have?

Manufacturing, Storage and Distribution, etc?

Are you simply accepting sealed product to storage and then distribution or are you processing it?

The short answer for storage and distribution for sealed product is.... NO... not an issue. It is just another product that you store and distribute.

Then there is the long answer if you are handling the product, re-packing, packing, packaging, etc.

Interesting.

Not my area at all but you can really, freely, intermingle packed  food and packed drug products ?

Kind Regards,

Charles.C

 Hi Charles,

Non-THC CBD is not classified as a drug.

As per post 3 presumably.

OK, I get it, thks.

Sounds like some interesting analytical discussions might be coming up in the near future.

Kind Regards,

Charles.C
