Greetings,

We want to conduct a microbiology test on skin boneless breast of chicken and the method that we found is BS EN ISO 6579:2002 and AOAC Official Method 2014.01(3M Petrifilm). If we conduct the test, would there will be any different in the result with different method? Thank you in advanced.

Hi Nrlsyazlina

Both the methods you have mentioned are official methods for the required analysis. The results should be comparable from  both methods. The 3M method is relatively faster than the  BS EN ISO 6579:2002.
