Would like to get your thoughts on micro-perforation on packaging for frozen product (plain crusts, biscuit dough, etc.). This is very new to me and not sure if packaging perforation is even a safe approach on product like the ones identified above. Have seen macro perforations on produce, but am unaware of other products in the market.

We produce CPET trays for frozen foods and the majority of our customers use film with perforations. It helps vent the air. It also helps keep the trays in good shape after the oven.
