Hello. I am a fresh Food Technology Graduate from the Philippines. As a graduate from a reputable university in the country, I was hired as a research and development officer in a company whose main product is mojos that is freshly prepared to customers. Other than that, they also have other food concepts. As a newbie in the industry, what I only have is the knowledge from my college courses. In line with this, I am currently seeking tips and advice in order to establish food safety principles in their operations and ingrain it as part of their company culture.

It will be great to hear from people who have experience in the food industry. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum! Make sure you do keep track of updates in the industry, sign up for alerts, emails, subscriptions. Also sign up for some training courses (you can find a lot of them right here for free). Have someone who has more experience guide you on a few things, learn about every process from start to finish about your product. Personally that's a great way to learn and gain experience. Hope that helps :)

ifsqn.com is a great resource. You are ahead of the game by being active here.

Start discussing your ideas with management and see where their head is on food safety. Culture largely starts at the top.
