Can someone plase refer me to a list of maximal pesticides levels in european directive for:

fats and oils,emulsifiers.

My client demands that the product would conform 396/2005, but everything on the directive is too general.

My supplier states they are compying with legislation and amendments 90/642,86/362,86/363,2002/5/EC.

Pesticide residues applicable under 396/2005 (as currently amended) are all listed in this live online database: https://ec.europa.eu...ion&language=EN

N.B. The regulations are set up such that the maximum residue limits apply to the raw crop - for processed products, you may need to apply a so-called "processing factor". The progress with these has been rather slow! I'd discuss with a suitable industry body to get their input on specific factors applicable for oils, unless someone else here happens to have them.

Alternatively, it is perhaps easier to test the raw crop materials against the limits in the regulation.

Dear d guy,

in addition - searching for the latest version of the 396/2005 -> look for the consolidated version i.e. all amendments are included.

This is much more convinient the following all docs.
