Hi,

Our supplier approval program requires that ALL our suppliers are FSMA compliance. I have been requested to approve a broker which is not registered and do not have a PCQI in their business. However, they already distribute products to USA.

My question is, if they do not store the ingredients but only distribute them, should they still need to be FSMA compliance? If they do store ingredients but do not process anything, should they still need to be FSMA compliance?

Thanks in advance! :gleam:

If your broker is importing food then yes, they need to comply with the documentation requirements under FSMA for FSVP on their suppliers.

If your broker does not - no.
