Food Safe Paint

Hi
I Work in a company of handicrafts. We are looking for a product (paint and varnish) for the outer coating of wooden household items (wooden dishes, fountains,).
We want to give it color, but we need that they are safe, non-toxic for use in direct contact with food.
Could give me information on the matter?. Thank you
Mercedes

I am trying to package a 4.4pH food product into a container that deforms at 140-150 degrees. HFH vs CFH vs other options?
