Dear Akumar,

The guidance from NZFSA seems quite suits for you:

http://www.nzfsa.gov...index.htm?print

There are some explanation how to conduct recall if the product is considered as RTE.

I notice this one too from San Diego Dept. of Environmental Health Food & Housing Division:

Dear Arya,

Interesting documents (thks) but I couldn't see any information relating to mock recalls ?

I thought the example risk assessment in nzfa document was a good idea but I think their choice is very poorly explained. Makes no sense to talk about a "too high" pH without some numerics IMO. Similarly, the nzfa document links to a rather useful risk analysis form which well illustrates the subjectivity involved but at the same time 'cries' out for examples.

There are some other recent thread(s) on mock recall "somewhere" here.

Dear Charles C.,

Yups, indeed. Actually, finding some examples of "mock" recall is quite difficult for me. Most of them only explanations or templates. And the most interesting template that I found is the NZFSA one. I couldnt find the thread in here too. Care to help us, somebody?

I have an example for mock recall that conducted by our company. Though it seems I will need some time to alter and translate it.... Besides, mine is not RTE kind...

Arya
Dear Biss,

That was the one I remembered. There may be others of course.

@Arya, yes, please translate it (into English preferably )

added - and here is another older one (also contained in the previous Biss link) -

Dear Charles C.,

Am I just imagining, or your link is similar with Biss? Feel being challenged, I dare to spare my time in pursuing the webs. I hope these are "mock" enough:

(try page 139)

(try the "testing your recall plan" section)

Sorry, I dont feel I am challenged enough for that one (am I just stepped into sore loser zone?)

Thks, you are absolutely correct, selected the wrong URL (empty stomach) while trying to present a complete list. Hv edited accordingly.

And thks for 2 more excellent links, particularly the first one. I guess, in practice, the first focus will be on sections (i) and (k).

Strangely, both procedures seem to hv omitted specifying an objective "time" for completing the traceability function or perhaps I missed it.

added - No problem to avoid the translation. I can still remember interpreting organic chemical procedures from Beilstein (German ) into English. Agonising.
Akumar,

Here is a layout for a mock recall for you. An idea to fill in the blanks is Possible positive for L-Mono on product that has been released, or of course an allergen ingredient in product that it is not declared as an ingredient on the label. I hope this information is helpful. Good luck to you.

Sorry to bring bad news but it seems your first link is broken!
