RSS Feed from the IFSQN Forum
Started by Zeeshan, Aug 12 2009 06:36 AM
Dear all!
Yesterday, while browsing internet, I came to know a wonderful thing (at least for me it was). The RSS feeding feature of IFSQN. I was really unaware of what RSS is? Still I am researching the new aspects of it but right now I want to share my experience with other members so that they can grab the benefit of it.
If you want to be updated all the time while surfing on internet and wish to be informed of latest postings on your favorite discussion forums and you are using IE or Firefox, you can use RSS feed to fulfil your desire.
Probably some members are aware of this feature but since I was unaware of it, I assume many members still do not know about it. I have made a simple document How to add RSS feed in Firefox Version-3.0.
If you are using any other browser or separte RSS Feeding software, you can do some research work to add RSS feed from IFSQN.
If you want to know more about RSS you can have it all at
http://www.whatisrss.com/
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RSS
For Simon: Please check and manage the technical applicability of RSS feature or troubles the members may have while adding and using this feature.

Wow thanks very much for that instruction Zeeshan. You are correct there is an RSS feed from the site.
Also for those members who are not as technically gifted you can subscribe to have various automatic email alerts from the forum software e.g. weekly digest, daily digest, new topics, new posts, specific forums etc. You can control all of these settings from MY CONTROLS section.
Regards,
Simon
