Hi

Does anyone know a good odourless food grade solvent suitable for degreasing and cleaning tool and machine parts used to produce pots for the food industry - oh and has to be cheap too.
Thanks
Rosie

Rosie is based in the UK so a US supplier would be no good unless they have a UK distributor. Any suggestions in the UK?

You could try someone like CCL, or Johnson Diversey, or Holchem or Klenzan.
Their all specalist CIP / cleaning chemical companies.

If you need contact details, i cam email to you.

I'm still researching - the problem is we need something to squirt on which evaporates off pretty quickly and this seems hard to come by. I have a few samples and most are quite lemony / citrus smelling (think the citrus extracts help with the de-greasing) - I'd prefer something odourless as I'm worried about tainting the very hot plastic which will be moulded around these parts.
