Looking for an accredited body......
Any referrals?
Could anyone help me on the specific information I need to include in the letter so they (accredited body) will be able to give us a quotation for said service.
You can go to the Buyers Guide to check out the list under "Certification Bodies".
Of the list, I recognize SGS as one of the labs that does testings for food products. Not too sure about the rest though. You can visit their website for more info and contacts for quotation on related tests.
We are looking for an accredited body to do the testing for our products nutritional facts to help consumers make smart choices at the same time meet the required labeling on packaging of food.

You can try search on web if there are any lab which already accredited to do testing any kind of microbiological and chemical tests
I think specific information that you need to include are
1. what kind of your product?
2. how many samples?
3. What kind of test do you need?
You should ask your local authority about labelling standard on packaging.

Hadi
If you explain:
- what your products are
- what kind of tests you need conducting
- the country you are located
Members will be able to tell you the type of laboratory you require and exactly what accreditation they should hold in order to demonstrate competence.

2) We don’t have a preferred testing methodology. Any methodology is okay as long as we comply with USFDA regulations.
3) Located in the Philippines
Thank you very much.
You will have a list of certified laboratories which you can often access from the Internet in your country and contact them directly and ask them if they perform the testing that you require. Your local authority can assist you with packaing requirements or altrenatively sek that information from USDA . '
Maybe in your country you have SGS labs and they are very helpful as they generally operate globally.

I understand yr question, a basic answer is probably legislatory labelling requirements.
This is function of, for example,
Destination
Actual commercialised product / product categorisation
Potential Consumer
In many cases the "safe" answer is necessarily with the receiver.
A conservative reply might be that all the items you mention are possible (except the last bonus one maybe
If you try looking at the reverse side of a few related items on sale, you will get some idea for yr own location (assuming the data shown is legally complete

We want to comply with USFDA regulations. Perhaps the destination is US. Need to clarify this matter with marketing team, same with the potential consumer consideration. And I'm not sure what you mean by "actual commercialized product / product categorization." By the way, I asked if test parameters I mentioned are all applicable because, you know, each test parameter has equivalent $$$ value. Thanks for your inputs Charles C.
I’m not sure if moisture, trans-fatty acid, and total ash ca be included. Any comments from health experts out there?
