High speed vision inspection system & coordinate measuring machine

dear every body ,

good morning

i am Preparing for report according to the high speed inspection system and coordinate measuring machine system ,can anybody help me to explain to me the difference between the two and the capabilities of each system ,any document or report could be very useful

at a guess a high speed inspection system could be looking at any number of different things where I would assume coordinate measuring system would be looking at some specific.

What are you looking to inspect or measure ?

There are also a few books on ebay and amazon relation to the use of vision / sensor systems for online control but they are not very up to date.
