Food Safety boo-boos

Hello All,

I am facilitating training for an auditing group and I am wondering if any one has any interesting pictures of food safety opportunities (food handling or facility based) that you can share. Of course, these are going to be used for training only and there is no need to have any company and/or product name captured in the pictures. I am only looking for some photos of things that prompted you to say, "What on earth"? Thanks in advance!

Not got any (sorry) but there are a couple in hygiene for management in the issue I have anyway.

(Although the above is a new issue.)

I find kitchens are sometimes good places to photograph or look for photographs of. Sometimes in factories people forget they're dealing with food whereas you take them mentally into a kitchen frame of mind and they might start thinking about their loved ones or kids getting ill.

How about these?

Sorry, these things seem to be pretty tough to find!
These are no pictures, but this site has a lot of funny cartoons that would definitely cause that “what on earth’ effect that you are looking for. If you want them without the stamps you may need to pay $20.00 or less depending of the type or organization and what are you going to use them for.

1 Thank
Truck
This truck was used for delivery of food products. It's perhaps a little difficult to tell but the damage went right through the vehicle. The chap had a hole in his truck and continued to deliver products six days a week. Can you imagine the birds and other pests that were nesting in there?

Bread Crates
This was received from a supplier. Hot breads were placed directly onto dirty bread crates. There was no divider in place for the breads from the crates. Also, no cover was attached when they were delivered. Notice the wooden table in the back also.

Mouse in Bread
I love using the photo to warn staff members...

The book by Richard A Sprenger (Hygiene for Management) that GMO has indicated is excellent as I used to use this for lecturing BSc (Hons) and Msc students in UK when I was a lecturer at University there.

The photos posted by JAKMQA are real examples as the mouse in Bread is a recent UK incident.
