Where I can find supplier management standard?

Kindly I would like to know where I can find supplier management standard or anybody can help me with it, I will be gratefully and anybody can explain to me if term (API) related to ISO 9001

If you are looking for any locally or internationally recommended supplier management standard then AFAIK either it does not exist or suitable for very limited area of control. Some renowned big manufacturer, retailers and chains like McDonald's, Pepsi, Coco Cola, Kraft Foods, Pizza Hut, have made their own standards to manage the material quality and safety provided by their supplier. ISO 9001 and BRC food standards give you basic outlines how to line up supplier related activities including supplier evaluation, selection, communication and performance monitoring.

Recently Dr.Ajay Shah shared a superb link http://www.kraftbran.../kraftsupplier/ which may help you a lot to make your very own supplier management standard or system.
