Dear All,

Came across this slightly ageing but, I think, still quite readable article detailing the origins / commercial interplay of the 4-5 major retail Food Standards particularly vis-à-vis GFSI, up to middle 2009 so overlaps into the needs for/launch of PAS 220. Didn’t seem to hv been linked on the forum previously but maybe there somewhere.

GFSI - Food Safety Standards.pdf   294.7KB   55 downloads

I suspect not too much change from then to now, eg has FSSC etc boosted market share for the ISO brigade ?

Thanks Charles, a little dated but useful as it gives a good overview.
