Which Department should be responsible for the Laundry?

Dear All;

I dont know where I have to post this enquery , any way in quick , if the food establishement have in site or in the same place , a section for laundry to wash their uniform this laundry section should be under which departement ? I mean their work function and their job descrptions belong to whom , to operation , or Production or Quality departement? please advice

To answer your question in a nutshell, you must place this with the laundry departmentt which may fall under Cleaning and Sanitation Department. I hope this helps you with your query.

If you are a BRC certified company then the Quality Department is usually responsible for hygiene too, and I think laundry is part of the hygiene process.

I believe it falls under production unless you hjave a C&S dept.

We have laundry under Operations. I think it makes good sense.
