I would like to purse my higher education for a PhD study, in the area of pesticide residue in food. So if anyone knows any school or academic staff, in the UK, has the same interest, please let me know.

You should contact Newcastle University in UK as they do conduct studies on pesticides, Check out the website for newcastle university and you will be able to locate a contact researcher in pesticides.
