Gap Analysis PS 9000:2001 and BRC/IOP Standard?

PS 9000:2001 is a standard for the manufacture of packaging materials for medicinal products. The document defines specific requirements and guidance for GMP integrated with ISO 9001. Updated version due to be released September 2011.

BRC/IOP Packaging is a standard for food contact and non-contact packaging materials and covers a lot of ISO 9001 type requirements along with food safety GMP.

Are there any members working to both standards and can explain any significant difference in their requirements?

Thanks,
Simon
