Can anyone provide a clearly defined Prerequisites example?

I have confused myself silly. I am in the process of writing our GMPs and I have seen so many different variations of this beast that I am unsure if what I am writing is correct. Can someone take a look at my two documents and tell me which one is the most accurate?

Is there anywhere that provides a more clearly defined example of a GMP outline?

Thank you,
Jennifer

Hi Jenny,
In my experience the 1st example would be a good example of a pre-requisite program. The 2nd example would be a part of your overall Food Safety Management System.

Dear jennyb,

Welcome to the forum !

Note that prerequisite is not same as GMP, the former was, I think, introduced via initial haccp theorists unlike the latter which derived from basic hygienic principles.

There are (many) sources for typical prerequisites (just search this site) however if it is GMP you want -

From an American perspective, this is one introduction to the main GMP package -

http://www.fda.gov/F...s/ucm110907.htm

and this is a continuation link -

http://ecfr.gpoacces....1.1.10&idno=21

(IMEX, it takes some effort to navigate around second site, previously it was a simple list of linked documents but now ....)
