SQF code Edition 7, 2.1.5.2 - Trending customer complaint data

I see in the new code (edition 7) under Complaint Management (2.1.5), they want trends of customer complaints to be investigated and analyzed. Currently I believe we are doing this with our annual HACCP review. We review all of the years customer complaints. Would that not be "investigating and analyzing", or am I missing something in this context.

I believe that as long as you're trending complaints it does't matter where or how you do it. We do it in our Annual Management Review meeting (along with other trend analyses like Pest Control. Maintenance, CAPA, etc.) but I don't see why it would be inappropriate in an auditor's eyes that you analyze complaints in your HACCP review. 2.1.5.2 simply states that "Trends of customer complaint data shall be investigated and analyzed by personnel knowledgeable about the incidents."
