Technical Manager Roles - What qualifications are needed?

Hello - wondered if the forum could give me advice on how an Environmental health practitioner with 12 years food safety experience, Lead Auditor and HACCP qualifications could successfully apply for Technical Manager roles within food businesses? Are further qualifications needed and is it essential to have had some in factory manufacturing experience?
