Fly monitoring - How to count grided glue boards?

Hello everyone, I wanted to hear some opinions about this.

We started using a UV fly trap with a glue board inside. How do you do the monitoring? do count all the grids? or you count some of the squares and then multiply for the total?

The pest contractor said that we could even count only one square and express the result in flies/cm2
