Glass bottle cleaning and checking prior to filling?

Hi,

I just started a new job, and they do not have an airblowout or water rinse for bottles. I'd would like to know if a documented visual inspection would be sufficient or if anyone knows about a manual airblower that we can use to clean before start filling of bottles.

Thanks in advance for your answers

Dear InettiQA,

Not my area but yr suggestion looks of rather dubious acceptability IMHO.

Maybe it is obvious to the aficionados but are we talking about glass or ? (added later - apologies, i just read yr title again so > glass )

There hv been a few (not recent) discussions here on cleaning/drying glass (?) bottles, and the associated problems. You might try searching here for "bottles".
