Production Zone Demarcation Confusion

Good day all,

I am really confused with some BRC Issue 6 requirements. Ours is a Nile Perch Processing establishment. According to BRC Issue 6, all of the sections to be marked as low risk areas. There comes the real problem as the BRC auditors want us to put labels at the entrance of the each section showing that it is a low risk area., but how is it possible to put labels considering only the BRC standards where as we have to take in to account some other regulatory authorities like the Department of Fisheries of the country, European Union etc. To them the trimming section, packing section etc are high risk areas. I expect some good thoughts regarding the same.

Thanks and regards,

SANS

4.3.1 says you need a site plan showing this sort of thing and identifying 4 different types of risk / care areas as appropriate. Depending on the type of area, they may then need to be segregated and you show movement of materials, people etc on the diagrams with defined routes. Unless I am missing something I do not know where it says you have to put labels at the entrance to areas...?
