Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a little guidance on 6.3.4 of Issue 4 Packaging and Packaging materials
Client prints labels.
What type of water bottles would be acceptable? Sports top only or screw top allowed?
There are no conical cups or purpose made water dispensers on the shop floor.
Guidance would be appreciated.

Wrong forum but never mind.

Presumably BRC packaging standard ver4, low risk.??

Rgds / Charles.C
AIB Regulations state that only water in a clear plastic bottle with a pop top is allowed in the production area.
Water in pop up topped bottles kept in identified areas away from equipment and materials will meet the requirements of the BRC/IoP, but you need to police it well.
how about ISO22000???

how about ISO22000???

I'm sure ISO 22000 will not specifically prescribe any requirements,
Maybe PAS 220 does?

Known from BRC/IOP requirement 6.3.9 - some options:

-purpose-made dispensers

-disposable conical cups

-spill-proof containers

But the most important thing is all smust be "away from equipment".so cannot keep close around the ergonomic/working area.
