Hello Simon,

Can you please advice on how to conduct GMO status risk assessment for raw ingredients, just rely on supplier specifications and that they are stating that its GMO free and just say that its low risk.

Thank you in advance

Regards

Your approach seems logical to me. We have some identity preserved products and require regular monitoring (we review every two years) to re-assess status.

Hi,

we have installed a 4 level risk class system for different questions (raw materials, finished products) and risks (e.g. microbiology or GMO).

Inputs are kind of raw material, origin, availability of GMO for this stuff, which GMO are grown in this area (any, not only the product -> cross contact), availability of IP, processing etc.

Dependent on that measures are taken: no action, certificates, monitoring up to analysis on each delivery.
