Microbial Testing - Corrugated Packaging

Hi All,

I work for a packaging/container company currently pursing AIB certification.  We have two plants; One is a non-food contact packaging manufacturer (corrugated shipping boxes), and the other plant has only one machine line that runs one food contact item (corrugated pizza circles).

In reference to microbial testing, I was wondering what kind of control measures (testing, documentation, procedures, etc.) would you recommend for both packaging manufacturers stated above?  Are they even necessary for our type of product?

Thank you very much for your input!

-Andrew
