Which Food Contact Packaging Regulations do Israel follow?

As per the title does Israel follow FDA, EU, other or own regulations for direct food contact packaging.

Israel has its own set of regulation(based on both american and eurepean legislation).

there is an organisation called Machon Hatkanim(free translation:standards organisation).

Some of the organisation's standards are governed by the law.

Israeli standard number 5113 for example(which need to bought from the organisation) is called:

PLASTIC MATERIALS AND PLASTIC ARTICLES IN CONTACT WITH FOOD AND BEVERAGES.

which is completely official(governed by the israeli law).

other would be Israeil Standard number 172:

GLASS CONTAINERS FOR FOOD AND BEVERAGES

which is partly official.

there is also a specific Takana(a bit weaker than an official law,but obligatory none the less)

which is completely in hebrew but you can try to translate it.
