Help required implementing an Internal audit program?

We are in the process of establishing internal audit in our organisation based on ISO 17020. Could any one help on how to go about and how the implementation should be.

Be interested to know why and a bit more about your organisation and activities.

 

ISO/IEC 17020:2012 specifies requirements for the competence of bodies performing inspection and for the impartiality and consistency of their inspection activities.

Following this topic for my own interest. We conduct Internal Audits but I think they could be done a lot better.
