Dear Anie,

It is not about the special processes. It is about your processes. You need to show that the arrangements you have put in place are achieving the end results you have decided.

Thanks

Gourav

Validation is 'proving' via objective evidence, tests results, experiments and other scientific methods that your processes are capable of doing what you say they are doing. If you have specific processes you are seeking clarification on we may be able to help more.

I also have doubts about 7.5.2. clause. It talks about validation when verification is not possible.  Does anyone have examples of processes you validated?

I found an example for this clause, not in food industry but in asphalt industry where my friends work for.

They made asphalt with packaging using a 200 L drum.

In their experience, it's difficult to weigh the drum since the product is very hot (approx 150 degrees celcius) after filling and also the weigh of the drum can be vary.

So they choose to use a stick with dedicated sign for the height of the product in the drum (200 L ~ 78,5 cm for filling temperature).

The stick is also checked regularly with a calibrated equipment to ensure the sign is correct

This process is included in clause 7.5.2

I hope this helps.
