Health is wealth; this proverb is applicable to all companies and organisations that look forward to a brighter future. The employer who understands the importance of employees’ health will never think twice about providing them training in workplace safety and health management. Due to the increase in the number of accidents in workplaces, governments across the globe have come up with stringent policies and laws to protect the working class from accidents caused due to unsafe work atmosphere. One important clause in this law demands all employers to provide health and safety training for employees. Employers who fail to heed to this clause are liable to be prosecuted for negligence of workplace safety.
