we usually find it cheaper and easier t o buy 1 new calibrated hygrometer and use it as the standard to base the accuracy of the others on.

Yes, I agree with you. I just asked our  accredited external calibrating body and he revealed cost of such service is more expensive than to buy a new unit.

You can buy standard salt tablets from Novasina. 100 and zero are easy to calibrate.
