Hello.

Please let us know, before we try to give you a complete answer, what food sector your are working in and if you are working under a food safety standard like IFS, FSSC, SQF, BRC, etc.

My inclination is to tell you that your FSMS manual will include all of those things by itself from what I've experienced.  But you haven't given a lot of information.

By management do you mean items of Management Commitment?  Operational information as it relates to food safety (and in the instance of SQF level 3 food quality).

Thank you,

Hello Bhardwajsneha,

In India all FBO (Food Business Operators ) are under FSSAI Which is  the licencing and registration authority.you have to implement FSMS as per their requirements. If you want to implement global standard then you should go for ISO 22000 FSMS.

Aattached below FSSAI questionnaire.

Hi,

Well, you are economical with your question details, however let me suggest to you a few things, I have two certification schemes, BRC / IOP and ISO 22000; What I have is two Manuals based on the requirements of both and where applicable cross-referenced; Moreover, i have procedures manual that describes the fulfillment of both schemes such that whichever has a higher requirement, it definitely meet one with less stringent requirements.

Think this shed a bit of light

Hello again,

First of all, Thanks for the prompt reply.

My bad!! I am working with a multistar Hotel and currently setting up FSMS as per ISO22000:2005 standards. I have to get the Hotel ISO22000 certified.

It would be a great help if u can shed some light on what precisely each of these 3 manuals will include. and also if i can do away with any one of these as i dont want too much paper work. I want to make a very crisp and to the point hassel free manual.. :)

Hello Sushil,

We are already FSSAI certified but since its a failrly new property, a lot of HACCP work needs to be done yet. I am currently onit doing the hazard analysis and all. And also simultaneously working for getting the ISO22000 certification.

I am a little confused about the 3 different kinds of manuals which was originally me question.
