What countries have regulations on cottonseed oil as an allergen?

Good morning all! Is anyone aware of what countries (if any) have regulations regarding cottonseed oil as an allergen? I have searched the codex, cfr, and others and would like to ensure that I have not overlooked something.

We are in the process of revamping our allergen program and adding to our "FDA" allergens to accommodate our international customers. Based on our current ingredient inventory, we have already added celery, sunflower, tocopherols, and I want to ensure that we make all of the necessary changes at once.

If anyone has a great resource for international (country specific) regulations, allergens or otherwise, I would be ecstatic to get this info. Thus far, the research has mostly been done through each of our customers' country specific Food Regulation authorities and this is extremely time consuming.

Thank you for your time!

Dear Fosterhome,

See the attachment in linked post below. Probably the most detailed one I've seen -

PS - But nonetheless maybe not perfect, for example from another thread I recall  Japan, Switzerland have quantitative limits for certain items which do not appear on list above.

Cottonseed is regarded as an allergen by some producers/ private label producers such as

Kraft: http://www.kraftfood...nControls.aspx

PS - i think yr link is this although  i don't understand why link in yr post  failed -

I suppose the FS difficulty is that the number of consensus allergenic compounds is legend, not to mention the number of debated ones.

Labelling regulations have been obliged to prioritize, ie FALCPA does not require cottonseed to be allergen identified AFAIK, eg -

http://www.fda.gov/f...s/ucm106890.htm

http://www.fda.gov/F...s/ucm106187.htm

Would be interesting to know what priority criteria Kraft are using in addition to those stated in the sub-link. Curious that the cottonseed (allergen) identification apparently only applies to USA. Maybe a criterion based on past experience/events. And similarly for sunflower/poppy seeds ?

The link was changed somehow (some extra characters). It should be http://www.kraftfoodservice.com/BusinessSolutions/Quality/AllergenControls.aspx (copy/paste in your browser)
