Manufacturing certificate request

Forgive me if i posted in the wrong section but i have a question perhaps you guys can help me out.

A customer is requesting for manufacturing certificate of the product and premise. I believe this is related to the manufacturing license. However, the product of concern is made by a company for us. So do we give them our license or the actual manufacturer 's license? Note that the product has a label 'manufactured for' our company.

i guess that certificate as same as GMP ( Good manufacturing Process) certificate. So just need third or second party audits.

They could be asking for several things.  They could be asking for a Letter of Guarantee if it is packaging, a COC certificate of conformity for either food or packaging.  They could also as As Nur pointed out be looking for 3rd party audits or GMP information.  I have also had companies want copies of our licenses and insurance.  Their need would determine whose information you give and what information you give them.

Basically the answer from a legislatory POV depends on the interpretation of "manufacturing certificate" in (apparently) Afghanistan or perhaps an external destination (?).

 

If not a legislatory question, the answer from yr customer's POV could unfortunately be almost anything, eg as per previous post. The only person who definitely(?) knows is the source (Hint - try asking).
