I am looking for PEM (Pathogen Environmental Monitoring) Benchmarks.

Best way to link your PEM program to Zoning?

How to determine the amount of samples you want to take and where?

Best way of swabbing and swabbing techniques. Should you go for 10x10 or much bigger swabs?

Etc.

Those are big questions and it is difficult to provide help with so little information.

Your environmental program is based on many factors including what your making, the processes and equipment, the building and environment and overall risk level.  There are some really good threads on the forum but without more information don't know which direction to point you.

we have three different levels of limits. Depends whether swabs are taken within area of food contact surface (e.g. pipes, pumps, hands...), being close to food contact (cleaning tools...) and more far away (keyboard, wall, handle of forklift...).

tested area is 25x25 as also one customer is insisting on this. But according to the risk and the historical data we have also different frequencies for testing the areas.There are a lot of different types of swabs (cotton tip, sponge... dry, wet...) You should get the one wihich is fitting best to your situation.

Swabbing is used at our site also as cleaning verification.
