Where to find New EU regulations notifications

Hi all, I would like to have the names of some websites or blogs where we can get the notifications of new EU regulation on food for free as soon as these regulations are out. And can anybody post copies of new EU regulations on (1) labelling and (2) Bisphenol A in food packaging material -which are to be come in to effect from December 2014?

Sorry, I probably misread yr OP. I thought you wanted to be personally notified for free. :smile:

As shown by Caz’s links, the available info can be somewhat overwhelming. And to the the EU also. Hence their occasional “Compilation” issues which attempt to simplify the maze.

IIRC, the structure of EU/EC regs requires that some issuances are adhered to explicitly by Member Countries whereas others can be individually (re)-interpreted. Sovereign Right comes into this mix somewhere as well. To illustrate the final complexity,  this site tries to maintain a coherent summary of  the current UK scenario as compared to the FSA’s official output. Note the disclaimer prominently included.

The point is that for any practical export situation you will likely have to discuss the details of a specific country with a local importer to get the complete picture.

Thank you all for your valuable inputs. In fact I was looking for some websites where we can subscribe for the notifications of new EU Directives/ Regulations. So that I can receive notification via E-mail or SMS. I hope you people got what I was looking for.  And the regulation on labeling was something like we have to mention the catching device in the case of wild caught fishery product to EU,
