Looking for a Standard Thermometer for Calibration

Hi everyone,

I'm the QA Supervisor at a produce distribution center. We use NSF certified food thermometers to pulp temperature of products at receiving.

Which brand and model of standard thermometer do you recommend for calibration against NSF certified food thermometer? We try to avoid glass and mercury thermometer in our plant.

Our thermometer supplier suggested to use just one of the NSF certified food thermometers as the standard, which I believe is not appropriate.

Thank you,

Angie
