Metabolic profiling of rice using GC/MS

I am currently to work on metabolic profiling of rice using GC/MS. If you know any protocol for analysis of sugars, amino acids and lipids in rice please help me. I will be very much grateful for your assistance.

This is such an interesting question and I was really hoping someone would have an answer.....please someone.....inquiring minds want to know.

It would appear that people who have been on the site recently are not familiar with this.  Should ever get some information please share. 

Well... I'm familiar with LC-MS, but not GC... Designing a method is basically what I did for my undergrad thesis, and it has been..sometime...since then.  It also took me a year, and I had acces to journal articles, which probably will be your main source for information.

If you're having a specific problem or are getting stuck at any step it would be easier to help, but I don't think I can get you any further than Google could, and not as far as a library with journal articles
