NSF Changes time allowance for submitting evidence of BRC CAR Closure

Hot off the press boys and girls - 

 

For anyone using NSF as their Certifying Body, this notice just came through today. Effective October 27, 2014 NSF is requiring suppliers to submit evidence of Corrective Actions by the 21st day after the end of the audit  to allow time for NSF to review the evidence and to request/ receive and review additional evidence when required,

IMEX, certification body will give 21 days as a target time to submit CARs so they have more time to review and ask additional information when  needed before 28 days as a dead line. must try hard to complete CARs as soon as possible to avoid certificate suspended
