Well sometime give it a chance.  Here's how you do it.

Cook a turkey that will feed 1.5X how many people will be at your house along with some ham.  Make a lot of mashed potatoes, corn, and stuffing.  You can do that red stuff I hate as well if you'd like.

After everything is cooked eat until you feel like you are going to explode... just don't eat so much that you do explode because we'll miss you on IFSQN.

A few hours later, and a few drinks later, pull out some pies... maybe you baked them... maybe you bought them.  At this point nobody really cares it's just more food after all.

After THAT then Football starts (American Football not Soccer).  Watch football and complain about how your team is losing.  If you don't have a team then adopt the losing team and complain about them.

Many hours, and drinks, later go home (safely) and sleep until Monday.

Cheers!

That sounds even better Mr I.

Mr I.,

Nicely done, very accurate summary.

Although it depends on the red stuff you mention, because I do love a good cranberry sauce.

Yeah... see I hate it so much I don't even care to remember it's name.  Cranberry sauce.  Now to be fair I've only had, once... when I was around 8... the canned cranberry sauce so maybe real cranberry sauce doesn't suck... but I'm not up for finding out.

Now this part may be controversial to anyone who actually has a winning football team but mine is the Buffalo Bills and they currently hold the longest streak within NFL (National Football League) history as the team that has not made the playoffs more years than anyone straight.  I believe we are at 13 seasons now... and 1/2 of the teams make the playoffs so as you can see my team sucks.  However, I'm from the greater Buffalo area and as such I cheer and jeer my team appropriately... but they are my team.

So if you actually like to cheer more maybe you'll pick the winning team but doesn't everyone like an underdog?

As someone who does not have the sports gene, football is not part of our day, but hanging out with friends and family is wonderful.  Fresh cranberry sauce with oranges--heavenly.  Don't forget the yams, baked with butter or with marshmallows but yams are important. !

I am a northeast Ohioan, so of course I root for the Browns, which just so you know Mr I. Suck about as bad as the Bills, if not worse (although they've kind of been impressive this year: 1st place standalone in the AFC North, hasnt happened since 1999, 1st winning season since 2007, who knew??

Anyway I digress. Yes, I am a Browns fan (because if people from Cleveland aren't Browns fans than who else is going to be??

But yes.... the Cranberry Sauce. Don't mess with than canned crap....what a waste! I will send you some cranberry RELISH, I actually put it on everything, turkey, stuffing, biscuits, potatoes. It goes with everything!

(and yes Snookie! With Naval oranges is the absolute best!)

Wasn't the Browns Bills game great this weekend?  I was sure we were done for when it was 3-0 in the half and buffalo only had one decent drive that ended in a pick in the end zone!!! ARGH!

I think we were lucky to get back to back TD's one being a turnover that changed the game.  Your backup QB really shook the Bills on his first drive running in himself for about 15 yards to get the Brown's TD.

I think he'll be a great QB with some time on the ball.

Good Ol' Johnny Cleveland, the only problem is his persona is bigger than his skills. They've been winning with Hoyer, and they should have done better against the Bills, oh well.. .its just football.

The Official Slogan of the Cleveland Browns "There's always next year"

Hey I think you guys stole that slogan from Buffalo... we've been saying it longer lol!!!!
