Ultrasonic cleaning of tools?

Hey everyone, I'm looking to get a tool sanitation program together for our plant (Walnut processing Hulling > Packaging/Shipping) and I was hoping for some assistance in this. I've been leaning towards a hydrosonic cleaner, specifically a Branson CPX8800 or Branson CPX3800. I was hoping to first get some insight from others who may have other suggestions on programs or hopefully some insight on how well the hydrosonic cleaners work themselves, If they work on power tools (with deionizing water / specific chemicals or...?) as well as a rough timeline of how long the cleaning solution lasts. any help on this is greatly appreciated, I should also note that we are currently in the process of working towards gaining our BRC certification so if anyone knows if this would potentially not be applicable to those standards or how an auditor may react to this as well it would be awesome. Thanks all in advance!

I am also interested in this - also UV cleaning of tools with a wand. :)

If you are only dealing with walnuts and there is no allergen crossover risk then it may do the job, I'm not sure how practical it is to use in a production area, personally I would ask for a demonstration before buying.

Tony

Tony, I appreciate the insight, we will likely have this in our maintenance workshop or our sanitation area, we were leaning towards having a sales rep do a demonstration at our plant as well, I was hoping to get some insight before we took any steps towards it, hoping to get some non-sales insight on the matter due to the obvious bias sales reps will have, haha.

Thanks again,

Tyler
