3rd Party Audit Preparation
We are going to be required, by some new customers, to have a third party audit. I wanted to try some sort of dry run before to identify any problem areas for an AIB audit. Any suggestions on how best to locate a consultant for a small company in New England?
Thanks

AIB actually offers a "dry run" - it's called an unscored GMP audit, and while they will give you a report, they will not give you a score, and you don't get to say "we passed" or "we failed" .
Although AIB will come on site for a pre-audit, they will also send you a copy of their audit requirments for you to use for an internal pre-audit. Just give them a call and tell them what you need.
I would suggest getting a copy of their standard first and then performing a gap analysis. Just look through the code line by line and say "Do we do this" if yes then your ok if no then you know you have something to fix.
Many GFSI audit companies may also have AIB trained auditors so you could have them audit you to the scope of an AIB audit. I don't know of any in your area though. I do have cards for a few GFSI audit companies that I could pass contact numbers to you.
