Electrolyzed Oxidized Water (EOW) and Organic Status

hi all,

I wanted to ask if anyone has any experience with using electrolyzed oxidized water (EO water) in their facility's sanitation program in CIP or spray sanitizing of equipment.  Anecdotal as well as how cleaning validations performed would be helpful to hear.

There are some articles floating around the web stating Coke is using it for CIP as part of their sustainability initiative.

Anyone have experience or knowledge if this is an approved sanitizer for 100%organic status?  My initial thoughts are that it should be OK as 100%organic as it is essential water and added salt charged to produce NaOH and HOCl as the active sanitizing compounds.

W/o going into the gritty details on this post, here is some literature behind it: http://dx.doi.org/10.../fns.2012.36102 , http://cdn.intechope...fs-wm/29735.pdf

Thanks in advance
