Looking for reference for white rice expiry date?

my client ask me about expire date of indonesian local white rice, and the rice has not have expire date? did you all have any reference or explanation for me about white rice expire date?

The following information is for dry rice. From what I could find, people use rice for years and don't require expiration dates. I would look up articles and reference them to your client. You could also create a "best if used by" date based on research to satisfy any client questions. Make sure you explain the "best if used by" date you set is only valid if the rice is stored in ideal conditions (which I assume would be sealed with no exposure to moisture).
