Food defense implementation
Hello
For upcoming GMP's certification audit......
I have a food defense plan but am confused as to how I am to document the implementation.
I am listing the following:
Pre-operations inspections check security cameras and that doors are locked.
Visitor, contract worker policy & sign in sheet.
Employees aware of Food Defense Plan
Employees FIRST signage
Receive from approved suppliers
Outgoing carrier seals
Incoming truck inspections
Lot code trace
Right? Wrong?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!
Hi scoot...
Food defense is depending on your industrial process. normally it about... the raw mate.... worker....etc...
like if you are in poultry... the main issue how you control the disease like the issue of H1N1,
And the workers part how you comfirm the health status of the workers... is there any procedure before we hire a workers.
Scoot,
That pretty much covers the basics.
Have you done a vulnerability assessment?
Are mitigation strategies based on the assessment?

Just go to the linked pages, read them, use the software provided, and look at all the links in the little box to the upper left on the page with mitigation strategies, etc.
Thanks for all the help.
I already completed the FDA Food Defense Builder. Great tool.
I was mostly confused as to what documents they are looking for that show how we record/document the implementation.
Was not sure if they wanted a specific record/document just for Food defense or if the internal audits, checklists, monitoring etc already in place relevant to Food Defense are enough.
Thanks again for the help
