Product Label Revision

Do product labels require a revision number on the physical label? If this is specifically called out somewhere, please reference the source.

I've never seen a version number on a label, and I can't remember seeing a requirement for it anywhere.  You need to have a record of your versions, but I think that's all that I have seen.

I don't believe there is a requirement to have a version number on a label but it is a great way to ensure you have the correct label being used.
