New EU pest control regulations on baits
Hi
Has any body heard about the NEW EU regulations regarding using Baits around buildings in removing due to Secondary poisoning and only permitting the use of bait incase of an infestation. So I think they are also talking about proofing rather than baits
If any body can share anything on this this would be appreciated

In 2008, the World Health Organisation reported that the last sixty years had brought significant changes in ecology, climate and human behaviour that favoured the development of urban pests .
The presence of such arthropods, rodents, other vertebrates and micro-organisms in proximity to humans represents a significant hazard for public health. This arises from the possibility that pests can act as physical and mechanical vectors for the introduction and spread of pathogens, diseases and possible allergens into human and animal populations. These organisms can also cause direct and indirect damage to building structures and their contents which can result in significant economic losses for commercial businesses, and households. In addition, they potentially can cause deterioration in the quality of life, including a psychological impact.
Arising from a need to address these concerns, the activities of disinfestation and the control of insects, rodents, other vertebrates and any consequential disinfection of micro-organisms have been developed as a service and are referred to collectively as the Pest Management industry.

especially here in Germany the regulations are gehtting harder and harder:
- Only allowed after hazard analysis
- can only be handled by pest control company (no more good known own people without pest technicians knowledge)
- no more 2nd generation baits, only 1st generation
- only at the building structure, no more on the fence or if lying close to public street
- has to be checked regulary
- ...
So best way would be to get in closer contact with your pest control company. I have to deal here with 3 companies, due to having also contact to other suppliers of us and all of them are able to give an answer on that. Especially as they are reliable, if you have a contract with them.
I have some documents on this in German, but also in English. Unfortunately I didn't find the way how to attach files. I haven't found the solution in the help-page. So if someone can help me, I could upload these files. I found only possibility to link to URLs, but how to upload own files?
